Zechariah 5 (vv. 1-2)

Zechariah looks up and sees an enormous scroll flying through the air before him. The scroll is unnaturally large, twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide, dominating the sky as a supernatural sign. The interpreting angel stands nearby, drawing Zechariah’s attention to the vision and asking what he sees, while the prophet gazes upward in astonishment.

스가랴가 다시 눈을 들어 보니, 거대한 두루마리가 공중을 날아가고 있다. 그 두루마리는 길이 스무 규빗, 너비 열 규빗이나 되는 비정상적으로 큰 크기로 하늘을 가득 채우며 초자연적인 표징으로 나타난다. 해석하는 천사가 곁에 서서 스가랴에게 무엇이 보이느냐고 묻고, 선지자는 놀라움 속에 하늘을 올려다본다.
