Song of Songs 3 (vv. 1-2)

A woman lies awake through the night, restless on her bed, yearning for the one she loves. Unable to remain still, she rises and goes out into the city, moving through narrow streets and open squares in search of him, but her search remains unanswered.

한 여인이 밤새 잠들지 못한 채 침상 위에서 사랑하는 이를 그리워하며 뒤척인다. 더 이상 가만히 있을 수 없게 된 그녀는 일어나 성읍으로 나가 좁은 골목과 넓은 광장을 지나며 그를 찾지만, 그녀의 찾음은 아직 응답되지 않는다.
