Romans 13 (vv. 13-14)

The final scene contrasts two ways of life. In the dim edge of the image, signs of drunken feasting, quarrels, and moral disorder fade into shadow, while in the foreground a believer deliberately wraps himself in a clean, bright outer garment and steps into daylight. His face is calm and resolved, turning away from fleshly indulgence toward a life marked by purity and self-command. The image captures Paul's closing appeal to reject the works of darkness and to be clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ.
