Romans 10 (vv. 1-4)

Paul is portrayed in earnest intercession, grieving yet hopeful for the salvation of Israel. Around him are devout Israelites marked by sincere zeal, but their striving is directed toward establishing their own righteousness rather than receiving God’s righteousness fulfilled in Christ.
