Description
After the plagues, those who remain do not repent. Instead, they continue in idolatry and the works of their hands, worshiping lifeless images of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, along with demons behind them. Their murders, sorceries, sexual immorality, and thefts persist. The tragedy of the chapter culminates not only in judgment but in hardened hearts: even amid ruin, humanity clings to false worship and rebellion.
