Revelation 6 (vv. 1-2)

As the Lamb opens the first seal, one of the four living creatures summons the rider with a voice like thunder. A white horse appears, and its rider carries a bow and receives a crown, going out as a conqueror bent on conquest. The scene emphasizes the solemn authority of heaven and the beginning of the judgments released upon the earth.
