At once in the Spirit, John beholds a throne set in heaven with One seated upon it. The divine presence is not described by human features but by overwhelming radiance like jasper and ruby, while an emerald-like rainbow encircles the throne in majesty and peace.

곧 성령 안에 있게 된 요한은 하늘에 놓인 보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 이를 본다. 하나님의 임재는 인간의 형상이 아니라 벽옥과 홍보석 같은 압도적인 광채로 묘사되며, 에메랄드 같은 무지개가 보좌를 둘러 장엄함과 평안을 드러낸다.
