Description

The returning Lord announces that he comes with reward, identifying himself as the Alpha and the Omega. In response, the blessed are pictured as those who have washed their robes and are granted access to the tree of life and entrance through the gates of the holy city. In contrast, outside remain those who persist in falsehood and corruption, creating a powerful visual contrast between purity within and exclusion without.
