Revelation 22 (vv. 6-9)

After hearing the trustworthy words of prophecy, John is overwhelmed and falls down at the feet of the angel who has shown him these visions. The angel immediately stops him, declaring himself only a fellow servant with the prophets and with all who keep the words of the scroll, and commands John to worship God alone. The scene captures the tension between human awe and proper worship.
