Revelation 21 (vv. 1)

John beholds the first great vision of the renewed creation: the former heaven and earth have passed away, and in their place appears a completely new world under God's rule. The absence of the sea signifies the removal of chaos, separation, and the old order. The scene should feel vast, cosmic, and full of holy stillness, as if all creation has been remade from its foundations.

요한은 새롭게 창조된 세계의 첫 장대한 환상을 본다. 이전 하늘과 이전 땅은 사라지고, 그 자리에 하나님의 통치 아래 있는 완전히 새로운 세계가 나타난다. 바다가 더 이상 없다는 것은 혼돈과 분리, 옛 질서가 제거되었음을 상징한다. 이 장면은 온 창조가 그 기초부터 다시 지어진 듯한 거룩한 정적과 광대함으로 가득해야 한다.
