Revelation 20 (vv. 4-6)

John sees thrones occupied by those given authority to judge. He also sees the faithful who were killed for their testimony about Jesus and for the word of God, those who refused the beast and its mark. These holy ones come to life, share in the first resurrection, and reign with Christ as priests of God for a thousand years, beyond the reach of the second death.

요한은 심판하는 권세를 받은 이들이 앉아 있는 보좌들을 본다. 또 예수에 대한 증언과 하나님의 말씀 때문에 죽임을 당했으며, 짐승과 그 우상에게 경배하지 않고 그 표를 받지 않은 신실한 자들도 본다. 이 거룩한 자들은 살아나 첫째 부활에 참여하고, 둘째 사망의 권세를 받지 않으며, 하나님과 그리스도의 제사장으로서 그와 함께 천 년 동안 다스린다.
