Description
Sea captains, sailors, and all whose livelihood came from trade by sea stand far off and mourn the ruined city. They marvel that no city was ever like her and throw dust on their heads in grief. In contrast to their lament, heaven is called to rejoice, because God's judgment has finally answered the suffering of His people, apostles, and prophets.
