Revelation 12 (vv. 3-4)

Another sign appears in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads, ten horns, and royal crowns. Its tail sweeps a third of the stars from the sky and casts them to the earth. The dragon positions itself before the laboring woman, poised in dreadful anticipation, ready to destroy the child at birth.

또 다른 표적이 하늘에 나타난다. 일곱 머리와 열 뿔, 그리고 머리마다 왕관을 쓴 거대한 붉은 용이다. 그 꼬리는 하늘의 별 삼분의 일을 휩쓸어 땅으로 내던진다. 용은 해산하려는 여자 앞에 자리를 잡고 서서, 아이가 태어나자마자 삼키려는 끔찍한 의도로 기다린다.
