Psalm 77 (vv. 1-3)

The psalm opens with a solitary worshiper crying out urgently to God in deep distress. In the darkness of night, he stretches out his hands without ceasing, seeking divine help yet finding no comfort. His memory of God does not yet bring peace; instead, it intensifies his groaning and weakness, capturing the raw honesty of spiritual anguish.

시편은 깊은 고난 가운데 있는 한 예배자가 하나님께 절박하게 부르짖는 모습으로 시작된다. 밤의 어둠 속에서 그는 쉬지 않고 두 손을 내밀며 하나님의 도우심을 구하지만 아직 위로를 얻지 못한다. 하나님을 기억하는 일조차 아직 평안을 주지 못하고 오히려 더 깊은 신음과 쇠약함을 불러오며, 영적 고통의 날것 그대로의 정직함을 보여 준다.
