Psalm 60 (vv. 4-5)

In the midst of fear and instability, a new image appears: God raises a banner for those who fear him. The scene centers on a tall battle standard lifted high above a gathered company of Israelite warriors and worshipers. Though danger remains, the banner becomes a sign of protection, identity, and hope. The people look upward toward the light surrounding the standard, pleading for deliverance by God's right hand.

두려움과 불안정 가운데 새로운 이미지가 나타난다. 하나님께서 자신을 경외하는 자들을 위해 깃발을 세우신다. 이 장면의 중심에는 이스라엘 전사들과 예배자들 위로 높이 들린 전쟁의 깃발이 있다. 여전히 위험은 남아 있지만, 그 깃발은 보호와 정체성, 그리고 소망의 표징이 된다. 백성은 그 깃발을 감싸는 빛을 올려다보며, 하나님의 오른손으로 구원해 주시기를 간구한다.
