Psalm 47 (vv. 8-9)

The final vision widens to the whole world: God reigns over the nations and is seated on his holy throne, while the nobles of the earth gather as one people under the God of Abraham. This scene portrays international rulers laying aside rivalry to assemble in reverence, acknowledging that all earthly authority ultimately belongs to God, who is greatly exalted above them all.
