Psalm 24 (vv. 1-2)

The psalm opens with a majestic declaration that the whole earth and everyone in it belong to the LORD. The scene visualizes creation itself: the land rising firm above restless seas, showing that the world is not self-made but established by divine power. Human life, animals, fields, and distant settlements all exist under God's ownership and care.

시편은 온 땅과 그 안에 사는 모든 존재가 여호와께 속하였다는 장엄한 선언으로 시작된다. 이 장면은 창조 자체를 시각화한다. 흔들리는 바다 위에 땅이 굳게 세워져 있는 모습은 세상이 스스로 존재하는 것이 아니라 하나님의 능력으로 세워졌음을 보여 준다. 사람들, 짐승들, 들판, 멀리 보이는 거주지까지 모두 하나님의 소유와 돌보심 아래 있다.
