Description
A dramatic contrast is shown between earthly military might and steadfast faith. On one side stand chariots and horses, symbols of human power; on the other side, the king and his people stand firm beneath raised banners in the name of the LORD. The opposing force is suggested as faltering in the dust, while God's people remain upright and resolute, ending with a final cry for the LORD to give victory to the king and answer when they call.
