Psalm 133 (vv. 1)

A community of God’s people stands and sits together in peaceful harmony on the ascent toward Jerusalem. Men, women, elders, and children are gathered closely with expressions of warmth, trust, and shared joy. Some are embracing, others are sharing bread and water, and still others are walking side by side as pilgrims. The scene captures the goodness and pleasantness of unity not as an abstract idea, but as visible fellowship among covenant people journeying together before the LORD.

하나님의 백성 공동체가 예루살렘으로 올라가는 길 위에서 평화로운 조화 가운데 함께 서고 앉아 있다. 남자와 여자, 장로와 아이들이 따뜻함과 신뢰, 공동의 기쁨이 담긴 표정으로 가까이 모여 있다. 어떤 이들은 서로를 껴안고, 어떤 이들은 빵과 물을 나누며, 또 다른 이들은 순례자로서 나란히 걷고 있다. 이 장면은 연합의 선하고 아름다움을 추상적인 개념이 아니라, 주님 앞에서 함께 길을 가는 언약 백성의 눈에 보이는 교제로 보여 준다.
