Psalm 114 (vv. 7-8)

At the climax of the psalm, the earth trembles before the God of Jacob, who transforms hard stone into life-giving water. A barren rock face breaks open into clear pools and flowing springs in the wilderness. The scene reveals divine power not only to shake creation, but also to provide mercy and refreshment where none seemed possible.

시편의 절정에서 땅은 야곱의 하나님 앞에 떨고, 하나님은 단단한 반석을 생명을 주는 물로 바꾸신다. 메마른 광야의 바위가 갈라져 맑은 웅덩이와 흐르는 샘물이 솟아난다. 이 장면은 하나님이 창조세계를 흔드실 뿐 아니라, 불가능해 보이는 곳에서도 자비와 새 힘을 공급하심을 드러낸다.
