Psalm 102 (vv. 23-28)

The psalm closes by contrasting human weakness and shortened days with the eternal God who laid the foundations of the earth. Creation itself will wear out like a garment, but the LORD remains the same forever. The final vision is cosmic and reassuring: beneath the vast heavens, generations of God’s servants endure securely in his presence because he alone is unchanging.

시편은 인간의 쇠약함과 짧아진 날들을 땅의 기초를 놓으신 영원하신 하나님과 대조하며 마무리된다. 피조 세계 자체도 옷처럼 낡아질 것이지만, 여호와는 영원히 동일하시다. 마지막 장면은 우주적이면서도 위로가 된다. 광대한 하늘 아래에서 하나님의 종들의 후손은 오직 변하지 않으시는 그분 안에서 굳게 서게 된다.
