Proverbs 10 (vv. 27-30)

The closing image presents the fear of the LORD and the security of the righteous as a landscape of refuge. A blameless traveler and his family move along a clear, elevated path toward a fortified shelter bathed in gentle light, suggesting long life, joy, and divine protection. Below and beyond, twisted paths fade into barren ground where unstable figures lose their footing and vanish into the distance. The righteous are pictured like deeply rooted trees that cannot be uprooted, while the wicked have no lasting place in the land. The scene communicates stability, hope, and covenantal security.

마지막 장면은 여호와를 경외함과 의인의 안전을 피난처의 풍경으로 보여 준다. 흠 없는 나그네와 그의 가족은 부드러운 빛에 감싸인 견고한 피난처를 향해 분명하고 높은 길을 따라 나아가는데, 이는 장수와 기쁨과 하나님의 보호를 암시한다. 그 아래와 멀리에는 비뚤어진 길들이 메마른 땅으로 사라지고, 불안정한 사람들은 발을 헛디디며 멀어져 간다. 의인은 뽑히지 않는 깊은 뿌리의 나무처럼 그려지고, 악인은 그 땅에 오래 머물 자리가 없다. 이 장면은 안정, 소망, 언약적 안전을 전한다.
