Description
A small group of men, made ceremonially unclean because of contact with a dead body, approach Moses and Aaron with anguish and sincerity. They ask why they should be excluded from presenting the LORD's offering with the rest of Israel at the appointed time. Moses does not answer hastily but tells them to wait while he seeks the LORD's will, creating a scene of tension, humility, and hopeful petition.
