Numbers 36 (vv. 10-11)

Zelophehad’s daughters—Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milkah, and Noah—accept the command given through Moses and prepare to marry within their father’s clan. Rather than focusing only on legal obligation, the scene emphasizes their dignity, unity, and willing obedience. These women, already known in Israel for standing faithfully regarding inheritance, now become examples of covenant faithfulness in marriage as well.
