Description
The Levites are counted and arranged in a sacred pattern around the tabernacle. Gershon camps to the west, Kohath to the south, Merari to the north, while Moses, Aaron, and the priests camp to the east before the entrance. Each clan is assigned its own responsibility: curtains and coverings, holy furnishings, or the structural frames and posts, forming a living ring of protection and service around the dwelling place of God.
