Numbers 23 (vv. 1-3)

Balaam instructs Balak to build seven altars on a high place, and together they prepare and offer a bull and a ram on each altar. The scene captures the solemn ritual atmosphere as smoke rises into the sky, while Balaam prepares to separate himself from the king and seek a word from the LORD on a barren height.

발람은 발락에게 높은 곳에 일곱 제단을 쌓으라고 지시하고, 두 사람은 각 제단마다 수소 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리를 드립니다. 하늘로 제사의 연기가 올라가는 엄숙한 의식의 분위기 속에서, 발람은 왕을 떠나 황량한 산등성이에서 여호와의 말씀을 구하려고 준비합니다.
