Description
Moses and Aaron withdraw from the angry assembly and fall facedown at the entrance to the tent of meeting. There the glory of the LORD appears, not as a visible face, but as overwhelming radiant presence. In this sacred moment, Moses receives the command to take the staff, gather the people, and speak to the rock so that water will come forth.
