Description

Moses receives the LORD’s command and gathers the leaders of Israel to present one staff from each ancestral tribe. Each wooden staff bears the name of its leader, and Aaron’s name is written on the staff of Levi. In a solemn act of obedience, Moses places the twelve staffs inside the tent of meeting before the ark of the covenant, setting the stage for God to reveal His chosen servant.
