Numbers 11 (vv. 1-3)

The people complain bitterly about their hardships, and the LORD’s anger is shown as fire breaking out on the outskirts of Israel’s camp. Tents at the edge are engulfed in flames while the center of the camp remains intact, creating a stark contrast between divine warning and communal fear. The people cry out in panic, and Moses stands as intercessor, praying until the fire dies down and the place is remembered as Taberah.

백성이 자신들의 고난에 대해 원망하자, 여호와의 진노가 진영 가장자리에 타오르는 불로 나타난다. 진영 중심부는 남아 있지만 바깥쪽의 장막들은 불길에 휩싸여, 하나님의 경고와 공동체의 두려움이 선명하게 대비된다. 사람들은 공포 속에 부르짖고, 모세는 중보자로 서서 기도하며, 마침내 불이 꺼진 뒤 그곳은 다베라로 기억된다.
