Description
The two choirs arrive at the house of God, where priests with trumpets, singers under direction, and the gathered people offer great sacrifices and erupt in joy. Women and children join the celebration, and the rejoicing is so great that it can be heard far away. The final part of the chapter also points to the practical faithfulness that follows praise: storerooms are appointed, offerings are gathered, and temple service is sustained. The scene therefore combines festival worship with the renewed order of a restored covenant community.
