Description
After sending the disciples ahead by boat and withdrawing alone to pray, Jesus comes to them before dawn, walking on the storm-tossed lake. The disciples are terrified, but at his word Peter steps onto the water; when fear overtakes him and he begins to sink, Jesus immediately reaches out and saves him, and the wind falls still.
설명
예수께서는 제자들을 먼저 배로 보내신 뒤 홀로 기도하신다. 새벽 무렵 그분은 거센 파도가 이는 호수 위를 걸어 제자들에게 오신다. 제자들은 두려워하지만, 예수의 말씀에 베드로는 물 위로 발을 내딛는다. 그러나 두려움에 사로잡혀 가라앉기 시작하자 예수께서 즉시 손을 내밀어 그를 붙드신다. 그리고 바람은 잠잠해진다.
