Mark 2 (vv. 1-4)

Jesus has returned to Capernaum, and the house is so packed with people that no one can enter through the door. Four determined men carry a paralyzed man on a mat, but finding the entrance blocked, they climb onto the flat roof, dig through the packed layers above Jesus, and begin lowering their friend into the crowded room. The scene captures desperate faith, physical effort, and the intense focus of everyone below as dust and sunlight fall through the opening.
