Mark 16 (vv. 19-20)

After speaking to the disciples, the Lord Jesus is taken up into heaven and sits at the right hand of God. The disciples then go out and preach everywhere, and the Lord confirms the message through accompanying signs. This final scene unites heavenly exaltation and earthly mission, showing the risen Christ’s continuing power through his followers.
