Description
The white-robed messenger tells the women not to be afraid: Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified, has risen and is no longer there. He points to the place where Jesus had been laid and instructs them to tell the disciples and Peter that Jesus is going ahead of them into Galilee. The women then flee from the tomb trembling and bewildered, overwhelmed by holy fear and wonder.
