Mark 13 (vv. 1-2)

As Jesus leaves the Jerusalem temple, a disciple marvels at the massive stones and splendid buildings. In sharp contrast to the admiration around him, Jesus declares that not one stone will be left upon another. The scene captures the tension between visible human grandeur and the coming judgment that will reduce it to ruin.

예수께서 예루살렘 성전을 떠나실 때, 한 제자가 거대한 돌들과 웅장한 건물들을 보고 감탄한다. 그러나 그 감탄과는 대조적으로 예수께서는 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남지 않고 모두 무너질 것이라고 선언하신다. 이 장면은 눈에 보이는 인간의 영광과 그것을 무너뜨릴 다가오는 심판 사이의 긴장을 담고 있다.
