Luke 7 (vv. 9-10)

After hearing the centurion’s message, Jesus turns to the crowd and openly marvels, saying that he has not found such great faith even in Israel. The scene captures the surprise of the crowd and the authority of Jesus’ spoken word. When the messengers return home, they discover that the servant has been healed.

백부장의 말을 들으신 예수께서는 무리를 향해 돌아서서 이스라엘 중에서도 이만한 믿음을 보지 못했다고 말씀하시며 놀라워하신다. 이 장면은 무리의 놀람과 예수의 말씀의 권위를 함께 보여 준다. 사자들이 집으로 돌아갔을 때 종은 이미 나아 있었다.
