Luke 6 (vv. 6-11)

Inside a synagogue on another Sabbath, Jesus teaches while a man with a shriveled right hand stands before everyone. The Pharisees and teachers of the law watch closely, hoping to accuse Jesus. Jesus calls the man forward into public view, asks whether it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, and then commands him to stretch out his hand. In a moment of visible restoration, the man’s hand is made whole, while the religious leaders burn with fury.

또 다른 안식일에 회당 안에서 예수께서 가르치실 때, 오른손이 오그라든 한 남자가 모든 사람 앞에 서 있다. 바리새인들과 율법교사들은 예수를 고발할 구실을 찾기 위해 그를 예의주시한다. 예수께서는 그 사람을 앞으로 불러 세우시고 안식일에 선을 행하는 것이 옳은지 물으신 뒤, 손을 내밀라고 명하신다. 그 순간 그의 손은 온전히 회복되고, 종교 지도자들은 분노로 가득 차게 된다.
