Luke 5 (vv. 1-3)

Jesus stands by the Lake of Gennesaret as a dense crowd presses in to hear the word of God. Nearby, two fishing boats rest at the shoreline while the fishermen wash their nets after a long night. Jesus steps into Simon’s boat, asks him to push out a little from land, and sits to teach the people from the water, turning the boat into a natural pulpit.

예수께서 게네사렛 호숫가에 서 계실 때, 많은 무리가 하나님의 말씀을 들으려고 가까이 몰려든다. 가까운 물가에는 두 척의 고기잡이배가 놓여 있고, 어부들은 밤새 일한 뒤 그물을 씻고 있다. 예수께서는 시몬의 배에 오르셔서 물가에서 조금 띄우게 하신 뒤, 배 위에 앉아 무리에게 말씀을 가르치신다. 배는 자연스러운 강단이 된다.
