Description
The devil leads Jesus to a high place and presents, in a moment of visionary temptation, the splendor and authority of the kingdoms of the world. The offer is power without suffering, glory without the cross, if only Jesus will bow in worship. Jesus rejects the false shortcut and declares that worship belongs to God alone.
