Luke 24 (vv. 1-3)

Before sunrise on the first day of the week, a group of women arrives at Jesus’ tomb carrying burial spices they had prepared. In the dim early light they discover that the heavy stone has already been rolled away. Entering the tomb, they are met not by the body they expected to anoint, but by an unsettling emptiness that signals something beyond ordinary loss.
