Description
In the courtyard of the high priest, Peter sits by the fire among strangers while Jesus is held inside. Three times he denies knowing Jesus, and at the sound of the rooster, the Lord turns and looks at him. In that piercing moment Peter remembers the prophecy and goes out into the night weeping bitterly.
