Luke 13 (vv. 18-21)

Jesus describes the kingdom of God through two humble images: a tiny mustard seed planted in a garden that grows into a great tree where birds rest, and yeast worked into a large amount of flour until the whole dough is transformed. The scene combines both metaphors into a visual meditation on hidden beginnings and astonishing expansion. What seems small and ordinary becomes life-giving and pervasive.

예수께서는 하나님 나라를 두 가지 겸손한 비유로 설명하신다. 작은 겨자씨 하나가 동산에 심겨 자라 큰 나무가 되어 새들이 그 가지에 깃들이고, 또 누룩이 많은 밀가루 반죽 속에 섞여 온 덩어리를 변화시킨다. 이 장면은 두 비유를 함께 담아, 감추어진 시작과 놀라운 확장을 시각적으로 묵상하게 한다. 작고 평범해 보이는 것이 생명을 주고 모든 것을 스며들게 한다.
