Leviticus 24 (vv. 1-4)

Moses has received the LORD’s command that pure pressed olive oil be brought for the sanctuary lamps, and Aaron now tends the golden lampstand in the tent of meeting. Outside the curtain before the ark, he carefully trims and fills the lamps so that they burn continually from evening until morning. The scene highlights reverent priestly service, the glow of sacred light, and the sense that Israel’s worship is to remain constant before the LORD through every generation.
