Description
In the closing lament, Zion weeps without comfort, stretches out her hands, and confesses that she has rebelled. Her children are destitute, her young men and women are in exile, death is inside and outside the city, and yet she still lifts her plea to the Lord, asking Him to see, judge, and remember.
