Description
As the assembly searches for a way to preserve Benjamin, they discover that no one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the gathering before the LORD at Mizpah. Bound by another solemn oath, they send twelve thousand fighting men to execute judgment on the city. In the aftermath, four hundred young virgin women are found and brought back to the camp at Shiloh, a grim and tragic attempt to solve the crisis created by war and rash vows.
