Judges 16 (vv. 29-31)

Bracing himself against the two central pillars, Samson cries out and pushes with all his might. The temple collapses upon the rulers and the gathered crowd, and in his death he strikes a greater blow than in his life. Afterward, his brothers and family retrieve his body and bury him in the tomb of Manoah between Zorah and Eshtaol, bringing his turbulent story to a solemn end.
