Description
The Philistines encamp in Judah near Lehi, and the people of Judah, fearful of their rulers, go down in great number to Samson’s cave. Three thousand men confront him, asking why he has brought trouble upon them, and they insist on binding him to hand him over. Samson agrees on the condition that they do not kill him themselves, and he is bound with two new ropes and led up from the rock, a deliverer surrendered by his own people.
