Description
Enraged by the treachery, Samson goes down to Ashkelon, where the Spirit of the LORD comes powerfully upon him. He strikes down thirty men and takes their garments to pay the wager, then returns to his father’s house burning with anger. In his absence, his wife is given to one of the companions who had attended him at the feast, sealing the humiliation and deepening the conflict.
