Judges 13 (vv. 6-8)

The woman returns to Manoah and recounts the encounter with trembling wonder. She describes the visitor as a man of God whose appearance was like an angel, awesome and mysterious, and repeats the instructions concerning the promised child. In response, Manoah turns to the LORD in humble prayer, asking that the messenger return to teach them how to raise the boy who is to be born.

그 여인은 떨리는 경이로움 속에 마노아에게 돌아와 자신이 만난 일을 전한다. 그녀는 그 방문자를 하나님의 사람, 곧 천사와 같이 매우 두려운 모습의 존재로 묘사하며, 태어날 아이에 대한 명령을 다시 전한다. 이에 마노아는 겸손히 여호와께 기도하며, 태어날 아이를 어떻게 길러야 할지 가르쳐 주도록 그 사자를 다시 보내 달라고 간구한다.
