Joshua 7 (vv. 24-26)

Joshua and all Israel bring Achan, his household, his animals, his tent, and all he possessed to the Valley of Achor. There judgment falls, and afterward a great heap of stones is raised over him as a lasting witness. The final scene should avoid graphic violence and instead focus on the aftermath: the solemn valley, the memorial pile of stones, and the sense that divine anger has turned away after justice has been done.

여호수아와 온 이스라엘은 아간과 그의 집안, 그의 가축들, 장막과 모든 소유를 아골 골짜기로 끌고 간다. 그곳에서 심판이 집행되고, 이후 그 위에 큰 돌무더기가 쌓여 오래도록 남는 증거가 된다. 마지막 장면은 직접적인 폭력 묘사를 피하고, 엄숙한 골짜기와 기념비 같은 돌무더기, 그리고 공의가 이루어진 뒤 여호와의 진노가 거두어진 분위기에 초점을 맞추어야 한다.
